For the I Like Turtles Boy, 17 Seconds Of Fame - washingtonpost.com
August 1, 2007Ok, well I heard this sound clip on the radio last week or so on Preston & Steve, (93.3FM Philly) and at the time I wasn’t sure what it was all about. But I saw this news article from a guy at work that talks about it. WHY does this stuff always happen???? I mean, like this kid says 3 words and it gets all this publicity!? The news post talks about a ring tone being created by some British company that bought the rights to use it from the family, a visit to Jimmy Kimmel….and probably some leading role in a movie. Anyway, this is this kids few minutes of fame and a fad that will die almost as quick as his three little words. Kinda like that “Star Wars Kid” and the fat guy that lip synced “Myahee, Myaho“! Oh how can I forget, William Hung’s “She Bangs“?!
